Course Objectives: 
Ability to analyze and understand Istanbul and world cities by looking at architecture, urbanism, sociology, history.
Course Content: 

The Urban Culture and Architecture course will provide students with information about the physical and cultural structuring and changes in the city they live in and in other countries. They will have the tools to compare and analyze the physical/social/cultural aspects of their urban and architectural environment. In this course, students will analyze their cities and see the effects of urbanization at first hand through technical trips, and discuss urban transformation, architecture and society on the spot.

Course Methodology:
