Course Objectives: 
The aim of this course is by examining the human-environment interactions from environmental design point of view to guide the students to design landscape spaces which enhance the life quality of human beings and which fit the human nature most.
Course Content: 

Basic Concepts in Environmental Psychology, examining the human-environment interactions from environmental design point of view, basic processes that takes place in human beings that effect landscape preference (environmental perception, environmental cognition, environmental evaluation), human needs, behavioural mechanisms of human beings, landscape aesthetics, landscape preference and landscape assessment, recent studies on the subject and different  approaches, factors effecting landscape preference, environmental evaluation methods that can be used for evaluating landscape spaces.
