Department of Architecture started accepting students with the establishment of Yeditepe University in 1996, under the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. After the establishment of Faculty of Architecture in 2014, Department of Architecture joined the faculty along with Department of Interior Architecture, Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture, and Department of Industrial Design.
