International Design Workshop

The International Design Workshop is organized by Yeditepe University, Faculty of Architecture in collaboration with Bern University of Applied Sciences and 700 DCC-Design Communication Consultancy.

Content         

Students are encouraged to work together and are expected to fully participate in the intensive five-day workshop. The design workshop focuses on the concept of light on at any scale, as an opportunity to design an industrial product or to light an indoor/outdoor space. Students can do so recycling used materials. At the end of the workshop, an exhibition of all projects will be put up.

Who can apply

Undergraduate students who have completed their second year, from any Faculty of Architecture (Department of Industrial Design Product, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Landscape and Urban Planning).

Quota

12 students. The workshop is free of charge. Yeditepe University provides dormitory accommodation to out of city students, free of charge.

Application Requirements

Students are expected to provide;

A portfolio (a pdf file, A3 or A4 format, in English, max. 7 Mb) in the following order;

- Cover page with the applicant’s full name, e-mail address (which will be main source of communication), mobile phone number.

- Transcript

- Up to 5 pages consisted of applicant’s projects or works from workshops, etc.
