Open Call For Advanced Design Studio on Sustainable Housing and Urban Design in Elazığ City Center

Within the scope of two social responsibility projects as a result of a collaboration of Yeditepe University - Department of Architecture, EAA-Emre Arolat Architecture, Elazığ Municipality, and Elazığ Chamber of Industry and Commerce, this Advanced Design Studio will be held by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ece Ceylan Baba and Arch. Emre Arolat in the Fall Semester 2020.

Students are asked to focus and offer sustainable and alternative architectural design solutions and suggections for the city of Elazığ which was hit by earthquake in January 2020 and suggestions to cope with extraordinary situations such as the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, which affected the world as of the beginning of 2020. Students who will take Architectural Design V (Arch 453) or Architectural Design VI (Arch 493) in the 2020-2021 Fall Semester can apply to Post-Elazığ design studio. Post-Elazig design studio will be evaluated as one of these architectural design courses. The quota is limited to 15 people and the required documents for the application are included in the poster.
