‘Post-Elazığ’ advanced design studio aims to develop sustainable and alternative architectural design solutions for the city of Elazığ, which was struck with an unfortunate earthquake disaster in January 2020. Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, which had an impact around the world, the focal point of the design process is designing to cope with extraordinary situations such as natural disasters and pandemics for Elazığ. The design studio is part of a social responsibility project, and participants are expected to synthesize topics of environmental awareness, sustainability, ecological living and visionary approaches into their designs.
