Course Objectives: 
Analysis of the relation between art and mythology from the prehistoric times to the 20th century. The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of mythology and art in different cultures and periods in the world.
Course Content: 

The class focuses on the development of art and mythology from the prehistoric times to the 20th century. Prehistoric civilizations (Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Anatolian), Ancient Indian, Classical Period (Greek and Roman) will be the study areas of this course. In addition, Western art movements will be analyzed. Every student will prepare and present a paper in class.
