Education Scope |
Students from SAAD – School of Architecture and Design, University of Camerino will be working together with Yeditepe University, Architecture Department students from 2nd – 17th of June 2019 in an architectural workshop. Students are expected to fully participate the intensive two-week workshop. |

Education Content |
The design workshop will focus on the project of public space as an opportunity to redefine the relationship between local communities and tourists, as a carrier capable of activating economic processes within unproductive territories or residual areas. |

Undergraduate students from Yeditepe University, Department of Architecture Only students who’ve completed Architectural Design III (ARCH 353) can participate. |

Application Requirements |
Students are expected to provide; 1. a letter of intent (a pdf file, in A4 format, in English) 2. a portfolio (a pdf file, A3 or A4 format, in English, max. 7 Mb) in the following order; - Cover page with the applicant’s full name, student number, e-mail address (which will be main source of communication), mobile phone number, and nationality. - Up to 5 pages consisted of applicant’s Design Studio projects or works from other courses, workshops, etc. One project/work should be presented per page. For each project, the applicant has to credit the name of the course and course instructor. |

Interview |
26 February 2019 (Wednesday) All applicants will be notified through e-mail for place and time of the interview. Applicants are expected to bring hard copies of application requirements and an up-to-date transcript for the interview. The interview will be in English. |

Jury Committee |
A jury will evaluate the applicants according to their submitted letter of intent, portfolio, transcript and CGPA, and interview results.

Announcement of Accepted Applicants |
27 February 2019 (Friday) All applicants will be notified via e-mail. Official acceptance letters will be scanned and sent via e-mail. Also, an announcement will be made through the department’s web site and Facebook announcement page. |

Registration Period |
27-28 February 2019 Accepted applicants are expected to confirm their participation by officially registering for the workshop through SEM. |
|
Second Registration Period |
4-8 March 2019 After the first registration, in case there are unconfirmed applicants, applicants on the waiting list will be contacted and they’re expected to register between the given dates through SEM. |

Costs |
The cost for the workshop is 1280 Euro The cost includes; - Workshop registration fee - Transfer from International Fiumicino Rome Airport to Ascoli Piceno and return, including an intermediate stop at MAXXI Museum in Rome. - Accommodation in 3 stars hotel (included breakfast) for 15 nights in Ascoli Piceno, Italy
Applicants are required to cover for their visa fees, health insurance, flight, living expenses and workshop costs such as printouts, model materials, etc. You can pay in installments from the relevant debit cards: Türkiye İş Bankası , Yapı Kredi and Garanti Bankası – (3 taksit).
After registration, no fees will be refunded. |
