Course Objectives: 
An advanced examination of the origin of Turkish architecture; Comparative analysis of the reflection of artistic activities and architectural products identified in the Pre-Anatolian Turks in the Anatolian Civilizations and their effects on the formation of Ottoman Turkish Architecture.
Course Content: 

The spaces and architectural elements used in the Central Asian buildings and Buddhist temples created by the Turks before the acceptance of Islam, and the reflections of the works produced by the nomadic Turkish Communities on the permanent architectural products in Anatolia will be examined comparatively on the examples and then the characteristics of the Ottoman-Turkish Architecture will be examined.
